1. How many times a week do I need to work with a personal trainer?
This will depend on how fast you want to reach your fitness goals. Most people start out 2-3 times per week.

2. How long are the training sessions?
Training sessions last a full hour or half an hour, depending on which type of session you choose.

3. What will I do on the days I am not with my personal trainer?
You will have a program designed by your trainer that is tailored to your individual needs. Days you don’t see your trainer may include group exercise classes, Sci-Fit circuit workout or an individual program designed by your trainer. Our goal is to have you know exactly what you need to do every time you walk into our facility.

4. Can I choose my personal trainer, or is there one assigned to me?
Clients do have the option of choosing their trainer. If there is no preference, one will be assigned to them.

5. How long will I need a personal trainer?
We start with an initial twelve week commitment to your health and fitness goals. Once the twelve weeks has been completed, you have the option to continue or discontinue the training. After the twelve weeks, you will also have the option to increase or decrease the number of sessions you train each week.

6. Do you have male and female personal trainers?
Yes, we have both male and female trainers.

7. Can I see what it is like working with a personal trainer before I sign up?
We offer free ½ hour sessions to members and non-members. Talk to an MKPT employee to set up an appointment.

8. Is there an age minimum or age limit?
We can work with anyone six years of age and up. There is no age limit; we have clients ranging from 14 to 95 years of age!
